Arrived at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, Collected my rental car & drove through the evening rush hour traffic. It was the calmest rush hour traffic I have ever endured it must be something to do with the funny fags they smoke, everyones so laid back.

This old house in an unassuming street about an hour from Schiphol contained a RHD Porsche 356 from 1958.

This current owner of this Porsche is South African, he purchased it from his friend in South Africa in 1975.

He married a dutch girl and moved to Holland taking his prized Porsche with him. Its never been on the road in Holland & it is almost totally rust free. It has all its original panels with the last 3 number of the vin-chassis number stamped on them as it left the factory, the wheels are all matching and date stamped as is the sender unit. Bosch stamped headlamp bezels with original lenses, original glass all round, perfect seams down the inside of the front wing where it joins the A’post. It will be shipped to Scotland next week where the preservation process will begin.
