Tom Fitzsimmons has spent many years at the helm of a Porsche Approved Bodyshop and has close links to the Factory.
Richard Fitzsimmons is Tom’s brother and ran their Porsche approved Bodyshop. Richard is also a Porsche Factory trained technician. Richard lives in Ireland & takes care of our Irish clients.
Jamie Lees, Jamie is our Cool Social Media Guru and fellow Petrol head, having lived in Spain is fluent in Spanish and French.
Alex Bruce, Alex’s background is body shop’s similar to that of Tom’s and they have worked together on many projects over the years.
Roy Kunz, Roy is the master detailer always on hand in the shop if required.
Gorgeous George who drives our covered transporter and delivers your prized purchase as if it where his own.
Thomas Van Meijeren is the guy who brings you the cool photography. Thomas is Dutch so obviously fluent in not only Dutch but also German.
Alex Lees, Is responsible for our cool videos and drone shots. Alex is Jamie’s Bro so also fluent in several languages.

Tom Fitzsimmons is a fellow of the institute of the motor industry, Coach builder, Racer, Pilot. Ceo of Border Reivers. Tom started his career as an old school Panel beater/Coach builder, Having served a 4 year apprenticeship, took a sabbatical to work for Porsche in Australia. On his return he had a whole new game plan as he quickly settled into management of the then most prestigious body shop in his home town of Glasgow. During this period tom continued with his passion for Classic Sports cars & was racing, building and showing car to international winning standards,resulting in winning the international Austin Healey week, Concours in 1986 which has continued to this day, Winning the Porsche Concours in 2021

In 1988 Tom decided to open his own bodyshop and within 3 year, he had to move to larger, state of the art premises. This lead to an approach from Porsche Cars Great Britain in 1992. They appointed him to become their Porsche Approved Repairer, In so making them the Largest Porsche Approved repairer in Europe with a staff of 65. The premises had 4 low bake spray booth/ovens, 10 body jigs and were the first shop outside the factory to go water based with their paint system.ISO approved.In house training facilities used by Porsche and Thatcham for they’re training in Scotland and the North of England.Within 10 years,Tom sold his award winning Business (the UK bodyshop of the year) to indulge in his passion for anything fast, Helicopters, Motorcycles and Sports cars. Tom is still Racing (3 times Scottish historic champion),collecting and restoring cars,having owned some of the most desirable cars in the world inc. several ex-works Porsche’s including a 550 spider and ex-works Austin Healeys. The passion continues to this day, His involvement with Border Reivers is an extension of his passion.
