Border Reivers are delighted to announce that we have just taken our 1st commission to build a very special 356

June 27, 2017

This will be slightly different to others who build this type of car. In Europe we are much more conservative & a little less risky, we like our matching numbers. So this will be built using all the original panels, we will skin the boot lid in order to retain its matching numbers rather than replace. We will keep the original engine but give it a bit more horsepower. We won’t give too much away at this stage but after lengthy discussions with the new owner were pretty clear how this bad boy is going to look kinda 356 Carrera race with a lower stance, a touch of Outlaw badness & plenty of coolness…..

The Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series.
The new 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series from Porsche is the most powerful and unique 911 Turbo S ever. The Coupé provides 446 kW (607 hp) and is limited to 500 units worldwide. In addition to a power increase of 27 hp, the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is distinct from the standard 911 Turbo S due to its unique design, higher-quality materials and luxurious details.
The sports car is being intricately finished by hand in the new Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur at the headquarters in Zuffenhausen. And for the first time ever, Porsche customers can have the matching chronograph from Porsche Design configured in the same design as their sports car.

Awesome conversion

June 2, 2017

After selling this 1974 Porsche 2.7 sometime back, the customer Mr Craig decided it wasn’t quite to his taste so he went down the RSR route. I am sure you will agree its looks totally awesome & very period. Well done Sir.

This is to state that when I visited the premises of Border Reivers,I was really impressed by the knowledge of Tom Fitzsimmons when it comes to Porsche. The standard to which the cars are presented is meticulous.I have been communicating with them over many years as their offerings of Porsche have seemed mouthwatering, but one never knows by conversation alone the extent of enthusiasm and detail knowledge that Tom has put into the business, so it was a real pleasure to be there for real. I have been connected with the Marque Porsche ever since the early 60s and have driven them internationally and for Porsche themselves over many years. I have been buying, selling and racing Porsche for 48 years and it is a real pleasure to see such enthusiasm translated into such a passionate business always seeking perfection in the product.UnknownQuick Nick with his trade mark front wheel in the air
