It always saddens me when I see this magnificent building. Built for the Argyle motor car company & during the 2nd world war for making Torpedo’s (known to locals as the Torpedo factory) its in a sad state with the facade still in place & the centre with the magnificent marble stair case still supporting some small business’s. If ever their was a building worth saving ,……..
