THE REIVERS EDITION

This will be slightly different to others who build this type of car. In Europe we are much more conservative & a little less risky, we like our matching numbers. So this will be built using all the original panels, we will skin the boot lid in order to retain its matching numbers rather than replace. We will keep the original engine but give it a bit more horsepower. We won’t give too much away at this stage but after lengthy discussions with the new owner were pretty clear how this bad boy is going to look kinda 356 Carrera race with a lower stance, a touch of Outlaw badness & plenty of coolness…..

Flintstone power

Border Reivers, delighted to be supporting our friends, The Edinburgh Watch Company yesterday. The venue was Knockhill racing circuit (Porsche day). Border Reivers suppled them with a beautiful Red Porsche 997 GT3 to display next to their stand of fabulous watches. Also in attendance was our other friends Classic car tours Scotland, whom we shall be with next week at cars & coffee (Sunday Worship).

Our next Sunday Worship breakfast meeting takes place on Sunday 9th July between 09.00 and 12.00 at Waitrose Milngavie, where we will be joined by members of the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust with 3 of their historic vehicles.

Border Reivers attended the last meeting with 2 nice 911’s. One was a very rare 930 Turbo Targa & our 964

Le Mans 2017: Porsche win in style while Toyota suffer nightmare.

Brendon Hartley, Timo Bernhard and Earl Bamber secured victory for Porsche. Great racing in all classes with Aston also taking victory in the last lap.

Last week it was the TT on the Isle of Man & this week it’s the Le-Mans 24 hours race hopefully normal service will be resumed asap.
