Border Reivers are delighted to offer this wonderful Austin Healey. I know this car well as I bought it from its original owner in the USA & sold it to its 2nd owner here in 1989. We restored the bodywork in 1989 for the new owner, it was in incredible condition just Florida Sun damage. We fitted an outer sill & a rear wing all the other panels were original including the floors. The owner had stripped the car before we started & put it together after painting. He has enjoyed it for the last 30 years improving it over the period to make it more useable. Fitting the stronger 72 spoke wire wheels, 5 speed gearbox, triple carbs, alternator conversion, Spin off oil filter, halogen head lights, collapsible steering colum, side exit exhaust, wooden steering wheel, alloy rocker cover, extendable rear view mirror, proper indicators, USB ports etc. An engineer to trade the owner rebuilt the engine & has recently redone the bodywork, fitting a new hood & carpets in the process. This model is a personal favourite not only is it one of the best looking Big Healeys its also the most Practical with its one piece folding roof and wind/roll up windows. This model also carries over the more traditional dash board with the small exterior lights. This 2 owner car is properly sorted & well priced.Drives magnificently. Find another
